Valley of Fire

Sunday we returned from our easter/spring break from Valley of Fire. It was awesome! It's one of those places that you look at and can't quite figure out how anyone could deny that there is a God. We pulled our trailor right up to a little nook in the rocks and called it home for 4 days. Tadd and Kara came the last 2 days to join us. The kids loved playing in the soft cool sand. Jake's favorite past time was burying his siblings.... but I got to bury him too. We went on some beautiful hikes and even found our own "special spot" as the kids would call it. I'm sure its a place we will return to. I missed the rest of our St. George Family. I think Dad, Tyler, Ben and Andy should all go in and purchase a nice little trailor together so that at least some of my Vanlehn's could be with us on these little adventures. It would only make it that much more fun. Tadd always says he can just see Grandpa's smiling face when he watches us pull into a good camp spot. I'm sure he's right. Thanks for paving the way Grandpa.... we love you~

Sand Hallow Camping Trip

We recently got back from our very first camping trip in our new trailor. We went to Sand Hallow with Tadd, Kara and Sadie. It was beautiful! It rained the first day we got there. So Dave was very proud of himself that he happened to Red Box a couple of DVDs. But the next 2 days were beautiful and bright. Keva, Jer, Bec and the girls came out. Along with G-ma Billie and even Austin, Sara, Konrad, Bailey and Jordan. Nothings better than having family all together in such a serene sourrounding. Thats what heaven is all about baby!!

House Decor for my Birthday!

This one is for my Mommy! She knows how much I love a little Deco for my birthday or anytime for that matter! I just wanted her to see that I LOVED the new item she got me for my birthday and it replaced all I had hanging on my wall above my piano!

The Topham Family

Hi Family,

I'm pretty new at this but I'll give it whirl. I guess e-mails are the past, and we must start blogging!
All of us are doing pretty good. We are all very anxious for school to get out. Lazy, cereal mornings are what we're aiming for!
Jake hit 2 homeruns over the fence this past week. He's such a little athlete. I never thought I'd be one of "those" moms. You know the ones that yell at the umps. I'm not extreme, but I get pretty fired up!
Daisy just finished national dance competition at Lagoon this past weekend. She's playing baseball this year too. But I'm thinking she'll stick to her "day job". Dancing is just her thing!!
Max on the other hand is in his glory. When he's got a game, he's up at 6:00 AM in full uniform practicing his swing. He's awesome! I'm sure he'll follow in his big brother's footsteps.
As for Dave and I.......well.......we pretty much go to ball games and dance recitals.......everyday.
Its what being a family is all about. Its NUTS! But I'll believe my mom when she says its over way too fast, so just enjoy it. And thats what we'll do!
